Rahul Tewatia amused everyone after his stylish end to Gujarat Titans’ game against the Punjab Kings. The power-hitter walked in during the last over with a big target to chase down, and finished off the game with two massive sixes off the last two balls off Odean Smith.
Tewatia’s sixes helped the team win the game over PBKS after they had lost all hopes of winning the game. Everyone was in awe of Tewatia’s heroics after the game. Shubman Gill had anchored the chase superbly earlier with his 96-run knock but Tewatia deservedly hogged limelight for his 3-ball 13*.
Amazed by his performance, Harbhajan Singh praised his cameo in the game, and tweeted a funny question for the team, asking their coach Ashish Nehra what the 28-year-old has for his meal. He asked “Yeh khaaata kya hai?” meaning what does he eat, referring to his power-hitting on the last two balls.
The Gujarat Titans, from their official Twitter handle, responded to his question with a photo of Tewatia eating Gujarat’s famous snack Fafda. The franchise had recently shared a video of Tewatia and Gurkeerat Singh Maan trying out popular Gujarati snacks with a blindfold on. The two had to guess what every dish was by tasting it.
GT shared a snapshot from that video, and replied to Harbhajan’s tweet saying: “Psst! It’s a secret. Don’t tell anyone, @harbhajan_singh”. Their hilarious reply ruled the internet as netizens burst into laughter.

Gujarat Titans are the only undefeated team in the IPL 2022
Talking about the match, GT had almost lost the game towards the end, but Tewatia saved the day for his team and didn’t let Shubman Gill’s knock go in vain. They chased down a target of 190 runs set by the Punjab Kings, becoming the only unbeaten team in the tournament so far.
Hardik Pandya’s team now has three wins from three matches, and they’ll look to carry this momentum in their next game when they face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next assignment on Monday, April 11 at the DY Patil Stadium in Pune.
