IPL 2022: Who is Anuj Rawat, who played the fastest innings against Mumbai Indians?

Anuj Rawat is from Uttarakhand. He was born in Ramnagar of Nainital district. Anuj’s father is a farmer. He does farming in Ramnagar and his mother is a housewife. When Anuj turned 10, he was sent to Delhi. His dream of becoming a cricketer took him to Delhi. Actually, he used to dream of becoming a cricketer since childhood. His father gave him a chance to live this dream and sent him to Delhi to become a cricketer. This is because Ramnagar did not have better facilities for cricket training. 

Anuj had a great performance in the recently played Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the 2021-22 season, Anuj also scored runs at strike rates of 58.33 and 108.69. This was the reason why so many bids were placed on him in the IPL auction. Anuj Rawat has played 6 IPL matches so far. In this, he has scored 113 runs at an average of 22.6. His innings against Mumbai on Saturday is his best performance in IPL so far.
