Kangana Ranaut told Iron Man’s suit was inspired by Karna’s armor, gave this big statement

Kangana Ranaut: Kangana Ranaut has said that the Avenger franchise is inspired by the Indian mythological epic Mahabharata and the Hindu religious scripture Vedas. He compared Thor with his hammer Mjolnir, with Hanuman holding his mace. Kangana will soon be seen in action film ‘Dhaakad’ which is touted as India’s first female lead spy thriller. Directed by Rajneesh Ghai, Dhaakad also stars Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta. The film will release in cinemas on May 20.

With ETimes, Kangana was asked if she would choose the Indian mythological approach or the Hollywood style of playing a superhero. They said, "I will definitely take the Indian approach. I think the West borrows a lot from our mythology. When I look at his superheroes like ‘Iron Man’, I think his armor can be related to Karna’s armor from Mahabharata. Hammer Thor can be compared to Hanumanji and his gada (mace). I thought the Avengers were also inspired by the Mahabharata."

he added, "Their visual approach is different, but the origins of these superhero stories are highly inspired by our Vedas. They also accept this fact. Similarly, I also want to do something original and why do I want to be limited."
