NIA Arrested Khalistani Terrorist: National Investigation Agency (NIA) has achieved a big success. NIA has arrested the most wanted Khalistani terrorist with a reward of five lakh rupees from Delhi airport. NIA official also confirmed this. Name of arrested terrorist Kulwinderjit Singh alias "Khanpuria" is.
Wanted in multiple terrorist attacks
According to the NIA, Khanpuria was involved and wanted in several terror cases including conspiracy to carry out targeted killings in Punjab. He was absconding since 2019. The NIA had announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh to the person giving information about his arrest. He came to India from Bangkok on Friday. As soon as NIA got its input, the team arrested him from the spot.
There was also a bomb blast in Delhi’s CP
Kulwinderjit Singh was also involved in grenade attacks in other states apart from a bomb blast case in New Delhi’s Connaught Place in the nineties. According to the report, Kulwinderjit Khanpuria is the mastermind of carrying out terrorist attacks in India by targeting Dera Sacha Sauda-affiliated establishments as well as police and security personnel in Punjab. Regarding all these matters, the police of different states were also looking for it.
This plan was made to create terror in the country
Kulwinderjit Singh also targeted senior officials of Bhakra Beas Management Board, Chandigarh with the aim of creating terror in Punjab and the entire country. He had also done recce of some targets. A case was registered against it on 30 May 2019 at the Police Station State Special Operation Cell (SSOC), Amritsar and again on 27 June 2019 by the NIA.
