There is unemployment here and there is no good health facility. Also there are no good schools. There is no heaven in Gujarat.
Who is Satyapal Malik
Satyapal Malik has retired from the post of Governor of Meghalaya on 30 September this year. He did his political career as a student leader in Meerut University. He was elected MLA from Charan Singh’s Bhartiya Kranti Dal in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh in the year 1974. Apart from this, he has also been a member of the Rajya Sabha from 1980 to 1992.
Joined BJP in 2004
Satyapal Malik has also been associated with Congress before BJP. He joined the Congress in the year 1984. While being associated with the Congress, he also became a Rajya Sabha member but resigned after about three years. He then joined the VP Singh-led Janata Dal in 1988 and was elected MP from Aligarh in 1989.
Satyapal Singh’s journey with BJP started in the year 2004 and he contested the Lok Sabha elections, but in this election he was defeated by Ajit Singh, son of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. He was also the Minister of State at the Center from 21 April 1990 to 10 November 1990.
