Lack of coal in Delhi increased the government’s concern, Satyendar Jain sought help from the Center

Delhi Coal Shortage: Amidst the deepening crisis of coal shortage in Delhi, the Delhi Government has expressed concern. Regarding this, Delhi Energy Minister Satyendra Jain held an emergency meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on Thursday. Also, writing a letter to the Central Government, requesting the Center to intervene to provide enough coal for the power plants supplying electricity to the capital Delhi. Energy Minister Satyendar Jain said that at present there is acute shortage of coal in various thermal stations supplying electricity.

There may be problem in power supply in Delhi Metro and hospitals

Name of power plant and for how many days coal stock is left in it.

1. One day’s stock is left in Dadri-II
2. Unchahar  Stocks left for 2 days
3. 3 and a half days stock is left in Kahalgaon
4. Farakka has 5 days stock left
5. 7-8 days stock left in Jhajjar (Aravali)
