Jyeshta Vinayak Chaturthi 2023: Shukla Paksha of Jyestha month will start from 20 May 2023. In this fortnight of Jyestha, the first fast will be of Vinayaka Chaturthi. In Vinayak Chaturthi fast, one should wear red or yellow clothes after taking bath early in the morning. After this, after placing a yellow or red cloth at the place of worship, install the idol of Lord Ganesha and perform Jalabhishek and apply vermilion tilak on it. Now offer Durva, fruits, flowers and sweets to his favorite things. Now chant the mantras of Ganesha. At the end, distribute Prasad by bowing down and observing fast for the whole day, observe the fast on Panchami Tithi the next day.
