Low birth weight babies born to pregnant women living in air pollution: Study

Air Pollution And Low-Birth-Weight Babies: A study conducted by researchers from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel has found that babies of women living in air pollution are of low birth weight. And the health of these babies is also not good in the future. It has been claimed in this study that pregnant women who are underweight or belong to a weak socio-economic background, air pollution affects them more. The findings of this study have been published in the ‘Environmental Research Journal’.
