Mahmudullah is in the limelight for the wrong reasons after his stunt on his way to the dressing room at the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. The Bangladesh player and skipper of the T20I side lost his calm after being dismissed in the game against the Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club. The Mohammedan Sporting Club player fell short of his half-century by two runs.

The right-hand batter worked hard to keep his team going in the game, but he didn’t receive much support from the other end as wickets kept falling and the momentum was lost. Mahmudullah was dismissed by Enamul Haque Jr. as he was caught behind the stumps. Upset with his dismissal, he vented all his frustration on the dressing room door as he kicked it hard to open it.

His action raised many questions, and fans were disappointed after seeing his outburst. The player who was known for handling the pressure in the game, and bringing up a cool and composed innings was at his exact opposite behaviour. He walked to the dressing room in full frustration as he was the last batter standing on the field before the dismissal.

As far as the match is concerned, Enamul Haque Jr. went on to get his five-for in the game and was declared as the player of the match for his brilliant show with the ball. The uneven bounce on the pitch didn’t allow Mahmudullah to stay long and complete a good knock. According to the Daily Star, while walking back, he raised his bat and said something to the groundsmen, followed by a rude behavior while opening the dressing room door.

The Mohammedan Sporting Club managed to score only 143 runs in the first innings as the Rupganj Tigers’ bowlers took down the whole unit. Mahmudullah added some crucial runs, but because there was not much contribution from others, the team was restricted to a very low score. In the second innings, the Tigers chased down the score, losing three wickets in the play, with 82 balls to spare. The Tigers emerged as the winners after a combined effort from the team.
