Manika Batra created history in Asian Cup table tennis, won bronze medal

Manika Batra Create History: India’s star table tennis woman player Manika Batra has created history. Actually, Batra has captured the bronze medal in the Asian Cup Table Tennis 2022. Along with winning this medal, he has created history. She has become the first female table tennis player from India to win a medal in the Asian Cup Table Tennis. World No. 6 table tennis player Hina Hayat was defeated 4-2 in the bronze medal match.

Asian Cup India’s star table tennis player Manika Batra has shown a brilliant game in the branch medal match in Table Tennis 2022. She did not give any chance to world number 6 female table tennis player Hina Hayat in this bronze medal match and won the match 4-2. With this victory, Manika Batra has become the first woman player from India to win a medal in the Asian Cup. Although all Indians expected that she would reach the finals of this tournament and capture gold, however, she was defeated by Japan’s fourth seed Mima Ito in the semi-final match. With this defeat, Batra’s dream of winning gold was shattered. However, she did not lose courage and created history by winning the bronze medal match.

Star of India Table tennis player Manika Batra also became the first player to make it to the semi-finals of the  Asian Cup Table Tennis Tournament. She defeated Chinese Chinese Taipei player Chen Su Yu 4-3 in the quarterfinal match. Manika had registered a stunning win over world number 23 Chinese Taipei player Chen Hsu Yu in the quarterfinals. He defeated Chen Hsu Yu 6-11, 11-6, 11-5, 11-7, 8-11, 9-11, 11-9 and made his place in the semi-finals.
