Matar Paratha: Pea paratha will make your day in winter, note the recipe immediately

Winter Paratha Recipe: Craving to eat something good starts on seeing green peas in winter. Be it vegetable or chaat, green peas are definitely used. Pea parathas can be made. You can serve this pea paratha with vegetables or chutney. Everyone from children to elders will eat it with great fervor, so let’s know the recipe of Matar Paratha. 
 wheat flour
1 cup green peas 
1-2  Green chilies, chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp cumin
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp grated ginger
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice 
1 tbsp oil + for shallow frying
How to make Matar Paratha 

Boil water in a pan, sprinkle salt, sugar and add green peas. Adding a pinch of sugar helps in retaining the color of the peas.  Cook the peas for 5 minutes and filter them.  Immediately put them in cold water. This will stop the ripening process and give a bright green color to the green peas.
 Meanwhile, prepare a dough by mixing flour, salt and water.  Knead into a stiff dough and keep aside to rest for 10 minutes. 
Heat a fresh pan or wok and sprinkle oil. Add asafoetida, cumin and fennel. Stir them and then pour in the strained peas. Sprinkle salt, black salt, chili powder, coriander powder and dry mango powder. Cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes and take it out in a plate. Once they cool down, mix them in chopped mint leaves. Now mash the peas with the help of potato masher. Don’t make it a paste just keep it coarse.
Divide the dough into 4 balls.  Fill green peas stuffing in each and close the dough. Sprinkle a little dry flour on the stuffed balls and roll them into round balls.  Heat a pan and place one rolled dough and cook halfway from both the sides. Now apply ghee or oil on both the sides and cook the dough till it is cooked well.  Remove and serve hot.
