Cameron Green along with star bowler Mitchell Starc has been rested for this last match. In place of these two players, Sean Abbott and Riley Meredith have been included in the Australian team. Australia has already taken a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Pat Cummins will return as captain in the final match.

Batting first, England scored 287 runs for 9 wickets. Chasing the target of 288 runs for the win, the Australian team achieved the target at the loss of 4 wickets. Whereas in the second match, Australia scored 280 runs while playing first. The England team, which came down to achieve the target, got piled on just 208 runs. Kangaroo team won this match by 72 runs. In this way Australia is 2-0 ahead in the 3-match series.
Pat Cummins returns as ODI captain
Pat Cummins England Will return as captain in the third ODI to be played against. He was rested in the second match played in Sydney. Josh Hazlewood captained in his absence. Pat Cummins has been appointed as the new captain of Australia’s ODI team after Aaron Finch retired from ODIs. Finch announced his retirement from ODI cricket in September. Cummins started his captaincy journey in ODIs with a win. Apart from this, he is also the regular captain of the Test team.
