Nainital News: Sensation spread after the girl’s body was found in Naini lake, was missing three days ago

Uttarakhand News: The teenager, a resident of Nainital Narayan Nagar area, had left the house without informing at 10 o’clock on Thursday, June 16. After receiving the complaint, the police started searching for the girl’s place. Police said that the body of the missing teenager was found while landing in Naini Lake. After which the police took the body in possession and phased it for post-mortem. The family is in weeping condition after the body is found. 

Body found on Sunday
According to the information received, a 17-year-old girl from Narayan Nagar village, about 6 km from Nainital, had gone missing. The family members complained about this to the police. The police started investigation after receiving the complaint. In the preliminary investigation, the teenager was seen entering the city by crossing a dense forest of dreaded animals in the dark of night. In the CCTV footage, the girl came straight from this area towards Nainijheel. On Friday morning, on the information of a passer-by, the police recovered the slippers of the teenager from the banks of the Naini lake.  After this the police searched the Naini lake with the help of SDRF, fire brigade and water police from Thursday afternoon till evening. The police searched for the girl on Saturday as well but she was unsuccessful. On Sunday morning, the passers-by going for the morning walk saw the dead body and informed the police. The police took the dead body in the morning.
