Navratri fasting, keeping hundreds of prisoners lodged in Naini jail, the jail administration made special arrangements

Prisoner Performing Puja In Naini Jail: In the Naini Central Jail located in Prayagraj, 516 prisoners including women are fasting for nine days in the auspicious time of Navratri. Similarly, 450 prisoners are fasting in the holy month of Ramzan. Jail officials claimed that Chaitra Navratri and an equal number of prisoners are expected to fast on the eighth day of Navratri. Interestingly, out of 1,532 prisoners, 516 are following the rituals of Navratri religiously and continue their fast for nine days.
