No confidence motion against Pok’s PM Niazi

PTI has brought a no-confidence motion against Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi, a member of his own party and Prime Minister of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. It has been said in the media report that this proposal has the signatures of 25 MPs of PTI and it was submitted by Finance Minister Majid Khan and Akbar Ibrahim to the Assembly Secretariat. The name of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has been recommended for this post.

27 MPs’ support needed

Imran Khan was nominated. Niazi got 33 votes in the race for leaders of the Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, while the United Opposition’s candidate Chaudhry Latif Akbar got 15 votes.
