Passengers are facing problems due to protest against Agneepath scheme, operation of about 50 buses stopped in Bharatpur

Bharatpur Depot: Commuters are facing a lot of trouble due to the ongoing protests over the Agneepath scheme in Rajasthan. About 50 buses have been stopped from Bharatpur depot and Lohagarh depot of Rajasthan Roadways. Apart from this, Kota Patna Express has also been canceled today. Only Jaipur route buses are running. In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, several buses of Bharatpur depot were vandalized by youths protesting against the Agneepath scheme yesterday, due to which the roadways administration has taken this step. 

Heavy police force deployed at bus stand and railway station
Let us tell that a large number of policemen have been deployed at the bus stand and railway station by the police administration. Bharatpur district shares its border with other states. Buses of Bharatpur Depot and Lohagarh Depot go from Bharatpur district to many areas including Alwar, Delhi, Haryana, Aligarh, Haridwar, Agra, Kanpur Lucknow, but in view of the protest against ‘Agneepath’, the operation of buses has been stopped because when the movement is furious. Buses are being vandalized at various places. Buses are being set on fire. Due to which the roadways are suffering a lot. That’s why roadways has taken this step. At present, buses are being operated from Bharatpur to the surrounding areas including Jaipur, Bayana, Uchhain, Nadbai, Rupwas. Every day the roadways administration is incurring a loss of about Rs 8 lakh. About 7 buses of Bharatpur’s Lohagarh depot and Bharatpur depot were vandalized in the violent agitation yesterday.

SI Hari Singh of RAC has told that in view of the ruckus that took place at Bharatpur station yesterday, a large number of RSC personnel have been deployed to calm the matter. The situation is under control and today nothing is  railways are running peacefully.

What to say about the traffic manager of Lohagarh depot 
Yogendra Singh, manager of Lohagarh depot, says that the buses going to Delhi, Alwar, Aligarh, Soron ji, and Uttar Pradesh should be stopped. Stopped today. Yesterday seven buses of Bharatpur were damaged. This is why the operation is temporarily closed.
