Himanta Biswa Sarma on Rahul Gandhi: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma once again took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi. He said that the image of a Gandhi scion should be like Mahatma Gandhi or Sardar Patel and not that of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussain. The Chief Minister of Assam said this while addressing a rally in the poll-bound state of Gujarat.
Speaking about the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Assam CM said that he has no opinion about it. Chief Minister of Assam said, "Rahul ji, your face should be such that people can see Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel, but not in such a way that Saddam Hussain can be seen." CM Sarma also said, "The people of Gujarat have done a great favor to the people of India by sending Modi ji to the national level. BJP’s victory in the 2022 Gujarat elections means that Modiji will again become the Prime Minister in 2024."
Rahul Gandhi has been taunted before
Actually, this statement has come a day after the Chief Minister of Assam mocked Rahul Gandhi for his absence in the recently held Himachal Pradesh elections. They said, "Elections are in Gujarat, but he (Rahul Gandhi) is roaming in the south. When there were elections in Himachal Pradesh, he was in Kerala.. He doesn’t want to come out of the dressing room because he doesn’t do that."
When will the voting in the Gujarat assembly elections
Tell that Gujarat Assembly Election will be held in two phases and voting will be held on 182 seats. In the first phase, polling will be held on 89 seats on December 1 and in the second phase on 93 seats. Voting will take place in the second phase on December 5. Gujarat assembly election results will be released on December 8.
