Sachin Pilot: Congress is organizing a Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This contemplation camp of Congress will run for three days from today. Early Life of Sachin Pilot
Sachin Pilot is one of the youngest members of Parliament in the country. Sachin Pilot is the son of late politician Rajesh Pilot, a senior Congress leader. The field of politics is no stranger to Pilot. His father Rajesh Pilot was a big name in Indian politics. His mother Rama Pilot has also been an MLA and MP. Born in 1977 in Saharanpur, UP, Pilot has received higher education. His early education took place at the Air Force Bal Bharti School in New Delhi and then he attended St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, after which Pilot did his masters in management from a university in the US.

Sachin Pilot is fond of flying and he is also a good shooter. He has also obtained his Private Pilot License (PPL) from NY, USA in 1995. In shooting, he has represented Delhi in several National Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championships. He has also served as a lieutenant in the Territorial Army. Hence he is also known as Lieutenant Pilot in Territorial Army. Sachin takes interest in issues related to farmers and youth. He has special interest in domestic and international news and current affairs, international trade and economics, agriculture and rural development, strategic and foreign affairs. He wrote a book on his father in 2001, book title "Rajesh Pilot: In Spirit Forever" is.

In an interview he said, "My heart broke when I came to know that I have poor eyesight, because I wanted to become an Airforce pilot like my father when I grew up, children in school used to tease me about my pilot surname. So I got my license to fly an airplane without informing my mother."

Sachin Pilot made such a big flight in politics at a young age. At the age of 26, he was elected the youngest MP in 2004. Sachin Pilot was voted one of the Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum in 2008.

Pilot was re-elected to the 15th Lok Sabha by defeating Kiran Maheshwari of BJP. He later served as the Union Minister of State, Communications and Information Technology from 2009 to 28 October 2012.

In the year 2012, Sachin became the Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and remained in this post till 2014.

Sachin Pilot contested 16th Lok Sabha elections from Ajmer constituency and lost to BJP’s Sanwar Lal Jat by a margin of 1,71,983 votes.

On 13 January 2014, he was appointed as the President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.

Sachin Pilot contested and won from Tonk assembly seat in Rajasthan assembly elections 2018.
