Rajasthani Mirchi Vada Recipe: Rajasthani Mirchi Vada is a popular tea time snack, which is specially made from Bhavnagri chillies. It consists of spicy and tangy potato stuffing, which is prepared by dipping it in gram flour batter and then deep frying. Know how to make –

10 to 12 Bhavnagri chilli
4 to 6 potatoes
1 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tbsp ginger and chilli paste
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp chaat masala
salt to taste
2 cup gram flour
3/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp oil
half tsp asafoetida
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 /4 Baking Soda
salt to taste
Recipe
First wash the potato and boil it in a pressure cooker with two cups of water.
Let it cool for sometime and then peel and mash it in a mixing bowl.
Coriander, ginger green in it Mix chili paste, lemon juice, chaat masala and salt. Mix all these things well.
Now wash the chili and cut it lengthwise.
Stuff the chili with potato stuffing.
Make gram flour batter. Add turmeric, chili, oil, asafoetida, baking soda and a little salt to it. Keep in mind that the consistency of the batter should be according to the coating.
Now put oil in a pan and heat it.
Deep-fry on medium flame by adding stuffed chilies to it.< br />When it becomes golden brown in color, take it out.
Serve chilli vada hot with green chutney or ketchup.
