How did people respond?
C-Voter asked people in the weekly survey whether BJP is right or wrong by giving ticket to a Muslim? On this, 63 percent people said that BJP has done the right thing. At the same time, 37 percent people believe that this is a wrong decision.

Muslim influence on so many seats
Out of 182 seats in Gujarat, Muslim voters have the power to decide victory or defeat in 53 seats. There are 26 such seats where 10 to 15 percent Muslim voters live. At the same time, 15 to 20 percent Muslims are effective in 11 seats. Then 20 to 25 percent Muslim voters are in an effective role in 7 seats. There are 25 to 30 percent Muslim voters in three seats and 30 to 55 percent in 6 seats. In the 2017 assembly elections, Congress had won 25 of these 53 seats. Whereas BJP won 23 seats. Others had secured 5 seats.
Note- The noise of election campaign has increased in Gujarat. There is voting in the first phase on 1 December and in the second phase on 5 December.
