Russia-Ukraine War: Rishi Sunak made his first visit to Ukraine after becoming the Prime Minister of Britain. During this he met President Volodymyr Zelensky. Rishi Sunak assured Zelensky of the UK’s continued support. Sunak tweeted, "Britain knows what it means to fight for freedom." Britain’s PM told Zelensky, "We are with you in every way."

A video of the meeting was posted on UK PM Rishi Sunak’s Twitter account, in which he is shown shaking hands with the Ukrainian leader in Kyiv. During this Zelensky asked the Prime Minister- "How are you?" The video shows the two shaking hands in front of the Union flag and the Ukrainian flag.
He reached Ukraine only 24 days after becoming PM
