Geeta, a woman working in Anganwadi, is accused of selling nutritious food at the flour mill. A video related to this has also surfaced in which she is seen selling grains. This video was seen by the local people on WhatsApp. On the complaint of the villagers, the village head Prahlad and others had informed about this by Khokar, the area in-charge Mamta. There was also an argument between the local people and Mamta Khokar regarding the making of the video. Packets of refined oil and sattu have also been found on the spot. The villagers had demanded action from the concerned officer.
Anganwadi avoided the matter by calling it a general dispute
In the same case, when Babar Khan, District Incharge of Anganwadi Department was talked about in this matter, he said that the matter should not be taken into account. Along with this said that there was some dispute between the village head and others. District Magistrate Jasjit Kaur says that an investigation team of tehsil and block level officials has been formed regarding the video of black marketing of nutritious food going viral on social media. There will be no departmental officer of the Anganwadi department in this team, so that the investigation can be done impartially.
