Shimron Hetmyer got hit by negligence, missed the flight twice and was out of the World Cup squad

West Indies Squad for T20 World Cup: West Indies batsman Shimron Hetmyer will no longer be seen in the T20 World Cup 2022. West Indies Cricket Board has dropped him from the team. The Windies board has taken this decision due to Hetmyer’s carelessness and evasive attitude. Hetmyer twice tried to postpone the flight to Australia for the T20 World Cup, due to which he was dropped from the squad.

Shamra Brooks got a chance
As soon as Hetmyer was out, the West Indies selection committee included Shamra Brooks in the World Cup squad. He will reach Australia soon. The board has also informed the ICC about this change.
