Sippy Sidhu murder case! Accused Kalyani Singh filed petition in CBI court, demanded this

Sippy Sidhu Murder: Kalyani Singh, accused in the murder case of Sukhmanpreet Singh Sidhu alias Sippy Sidhu, has filed an application before the CBI court to provide copies of the evidence collected by the police during the investigation in the case. For this, there has been a demand to give instructions to the CBI. Advocate Sippy Sidhu was shot dead on the night of 20 September 2015 at a park in Sector 27 here. The police had started investigation by registering a case against an unknown person. When the police could not solve the case, it was transferred to the CBI in 2016.

CBI will not file reply
CBI had arrested Kalyani in July last year. In the application filed through advocate Harish Mehla, Kalyani said that during investigation, the Chandigarh Police inspected the crime scene, recovered articles found on the body, recorded statements of several persons under section 161 CrPC and evidence including various articles, Documents and electronic data were also collected. The applicant is entitled to material to defend himself effectively during the trial. Public Prosecutor Narendra Singh said the CBI would not file a reply and would directly start arguments on the application.

When did the murder happen?
Sippy Sidhu was murdered on 20 September 2015 in a green belt (park) of Chandigarh Sector-27. He was shot 4 times. At that time the time of murder was said to be between 9:30 to 10 o’clock. Sippy Sidhu’s mother says, I wish Sippy had not been sent to meet Kalyani on September 20, perhaps the bad times would have been averted. Earlier also he had gone to Sector 27 to meet Kalyani on 19th September. Kalyani used to call him from unknown numbers.
