The police also seized 8 cycles and about 13 quintals of coal from the spot. Police sent these eight people to judicial custody on charges of coal theft.

Ali Sheikh, resident of Belpokhar, Sarikul Sheikh, Sangrampur resident Asraf Ansari, Farsa resident Saddam Sheikh, Devtalla resident Kajirul Sheikh and Sahbajpur resident Khudu Sheikh are included. At the same time, in Durgapur of the police station area, the police raided and seized about 60 quintals of coal loaded on 37 cycles. Police has handed over the coal seized from Durgapur to BGR company.
