Bumper increase in prize money of domestic cricket tournaments
On Monday, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah announced a bumper increase in the prize money of domestic cricket tournaments. Now after this announcement, the prize money of the team that won the Ranji Trophy tournament has almost doubled. Whereas in Vijay Hazare Trophy, the prize money of the winner and the second team has increased up to three times. There has also been a bumper increase in the amount of women’s cricket. Now women players will get almost eight times more money than before. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah gave this information by tweeting.
