The name of German sports brand Adidas has been announced as the new kit sponsor of the Indian team. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jai Shah gave this information on 22 May.

Jai Shah wrote in his tweet that we are very happy to inform that BCCI has tied up with Adidas as the next kit sponsor of the Indian team. We are committed to taking the game of cricket forward. We are delighted to have tied up with the world’s largest sports wear company.

Killer was made a kit sponsor only for 5 months

MPL as the kit sponsor of the Indian team year 2023. But he decided to end this contract in the middle. After this, BCCI tied up with Killer Jeans as a kit sponsor for only 5 months. So far, no disclosure has been made by the BCCI regarding the amount of the agreement with Adidas. Earlier, MPL used to pay Rs 65 lakh per match to the Indian board.
