CSK: Dhoni’s team is strong in IPL, entry in playoffs with such a great record

Chennai Super Kings In IPL: Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings became the second team to qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs. CSK made it to the playoffs by defeating Delhi Capitals by 77 runs on Saturday, May 20. Chennai qualified for the playoffs for the 12th time through this season. CSK has so far failed to qualify for the playoffs only twice. 

CSK is the team that has made it to the playoffs the most number of times

Chennai Super Kings is the team that has made the most 12 times in the IPL playoffs. Chennai has played only 14 seasons in the IPL so far and in this the team failed to qualify for the playoffs only twice. CSK made it to the playoffs in 2008 i.e. the very first season of IPL. That Chennai had traveled till the finals. Although the team had to face defeat in the title match against Rajasthan Royals. 

Let us tell you that Chennai Super Kings were banned in IPL season 2016 and 2017. Due to this, the team has been able to play only 14 matches after 16 seasons.
