Darshan Nalkande Profile: The first qualifier match of IPL 2023 is being played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. In this match being played at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium, Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. With this, there was a change in the playing eleven of the team. Darshan Nalkande was included in the team in place of fast bowler Yash Dayal. 

Darshan Nalkande is playing his first match in IPL 2023. He was replaced by captain Hardik Pandya in an important match like a qualifier. Gujarat Titans included Darshan Nalkande in the IPL 2022 mega auction by paying a price of Rs 20 lakhs. Earlier he was part of Punjab Kings. 

Punjab had added Darshan to his team in 2019 by giving him Rs 30 lakh pies. However, he did not get a chance to play any match for Punjab. After this, Punjab released him before the mega auction of 2022. 

IPL debut for Gujarat

Darshan Nalkande made his IPL debut in 2022 against Punjab Kings from Gujarat Titans. He played a total of two matches in 2022, in which he took 2 wickets at an average of 29.50 while bowling. During this his economy was 11.42. 

Plays first class from Vidarbha, was born in Wardha, Maharashtra

Please tell that Darshan plays first class cricket on behalf of Vidarbha. Although he was born on October 4, 1998 in Wardha district of Maharashtra. He made his first-class debut in 2018 for Vidarbha against Maharashtra. So far Darshan has played 3 first class matches, taking 1 wicket with the bowl and scoring 74 runs with the bat.
