India vs Australia 4th Test Ahmedabad: India defeated Australia 2–1 in the four-match Test series. The last match of the series was played in Ahmedabad, which was a draw. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, had won the first two matches. After this, Australia came back and won the third match by 9 wickets. The first match of the series was played in Nagpur. India registered a big win in this and defeated Australia by an innings and 132 runs. The entire credit of India’s victory in this match goes to the bowlers. The Australian team was all out for 177 runs in the first innings and just 91 runs in the second innings. Ravindra Jadeja broke Australia’s back by taking 5 wickets in the first innings. Ravichandran Ashwin also had an important contribution in this. He took 3 wickets. Ashwin took 5 wickets in the second innings. Shami-Jadeja took 2-2 wickets.
Delhi Test :
Mohammad Shami, Jadeja and Ashwin played an important role behind India’s victory in the Delhi Test. The Australian team was all out after scoring 263 runs in the first innings. During this, Shami took 4 wickets and Ashwin-Jadeja got 3-3 wickets. India scored 262 runs in the first innings. Akshar Patel contributed 74 runs for the team. He had an important contribution in this victory. The Australian team was all out after scoring 113 runs in the second innings. Jadeja made the Kangaroo team sweat by taking 7 wickets. The Indian team scored 118 runs in the second innings and won the match by 6 wickets.
