Indian Premier League, GT vs MI: Gujarat Titans (GT) have entered the final after defeating Mumbai Indians (MI) by 62 runs in the second qualifier match. The Gujarat team scored 233 runs in 20 overs on the basis of Shubman Gill’s innings of 129 runs. In response, the Mumbai Indians team was reduced to 171 runs in 18.2 overs.

After the defeat in the second qualifier match, Mumbai Indians team captain Rohit Sharma said that Shubman batted very well on this wicket and he scored 20 to 25 more runs in his innings. We were very positive after the end of the first innings. Green and Surya batted well but we lost. We could not manage to score quick runs during the powerplay. We wanted one batsman to take the game till the end but we could not do that. We should give credit for this victory to Gujarat, who played very well.

Rohit Sharma further said in his statement that Ishan Kishan’s sudden exit due to concussion was definitely a shock. But we should be prepared for such things and should not think too much about it. Making the playoffs this season has been a big deal for us.

Batting the biggest positive for us this season
