IPL 2023: Indian Premier League, in the first qualifier match played on Tuesday, Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by 15 runs to make it to the finals. The hero of CSK’s victory was opener Rituraj Gaikwad. Rituraj Gaikwad played an excellent inning of 60 runs and due to him, CSK set a challenging target of 172 runs on a difficult pitch.
Rituraj Gaikwad got the title of Player of the Match for this excellent innings. Gaikwad has also expressed satisfaction over his innings. Talking about the last few matches played in Chennai after the match, Gaikwad said, “The last three-four matches in Chennai have been different. The wicket was much better in the earlier matches. But you have to change.”
Rituraj explained the strategy under which he got success while batting. Gaikwad said, “You have to keep rotating the strike and wait for the bad balls. Conway is a great player. I have had a good partnership with Conway. And I would like to say that it was heartening to score 60 runs here.”
CSK has the best record
Let us tell you that CSK bowled well after scoring a challenging score. CSK bowlers did not give any Gujarat batsman a chance to score a half-century. Gujarat kept losing wickets in the middle overs and for this reason Gujarat Titans were all out after scoring 157 runs in 20 overs.
