Tamim Iqbal made this special test record in his name, second Bangladeshi to do so

Tamim has scored 5010 runs in 129 innings of 68 Test matches played so far. He has reached the second place in terms of scoring the most Test runs for Bangladesh. Tamim has scored 10 centuries and 31 half-centuries during this period. His best test score is 209 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim holds the record for scoring the most Test runs for Bangladesh. He has scored 5235 runs in 82 matches. During this, Rahim has scored 9 centuries and 25 half-centuries.

It is worth noting that Shakib Al Hasan is in third place in terms of highest run scorer for Bangladesh. He has scored 4140 runs in 113 innings. During this he has scored 5 centuries and 27 half-centuries. In this case, Mominul Haque is in fourth place. He has scored 3525 runs in 99 Test innings.
