Regulatory Framework on AI: If you regularly scroll the news on the internet, then you must have read about the movement going on in the market regarding Chat GPT and AI. Many people have brought AI tools similar to Chat GPT, while some are integrating it into their services. Discussion is going on all over the world regarding AI and meetings are being organized on its regulation. Now the Government of India has also come into action regarding AI and is making a regulatory framework for it. In this regard, Communications and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the government will make some rules for the regulation of AI in the areas related to algorithms and copyrights. He said that this is a global issue. All countries will have to work together on this so that a uniform law or rule can be made for the benefit of the people.
Apart from this, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that in the G7 meeting, digital ministers of all countries have discussed how a law can be made for AI regulation. He said that this is a global issue and all the countries will have to work together on this and on the same basis, India will also make a regulatory check on it. Along with this, he also said that there are concerns regarding AI tools such as Chat GPT, Bard regarding IPR, copyright and business of algorithms which will be worked upon.
Sam Altman meets with US Senate panel
A few days ago, Open AI CEO Sam Altman appeared before the US Senate panel and said that his biggest concern about ChatGPT is how it will impact human jobs and the labor market. He asked the Congress to help in this matter. On the other hand, Sam Altman also said that even though AI is fraught with danger, it also has the potential to create many better quality jobs.
