Congress leader P Chidambaram also taunted, ‘‘‘‘We thank the Finance Minister for revealing that he also studied bakery and cooking in the university.’’ BJP leader Amit Malviya retweeted Chidambaram’s tweet and said, ‘The 1991 reforms were definitely half-hearted, as they were done out of compulsion, not with any commitment and aspiration. The economic policies of the Congress in the first four decades after independence created such a situation that we had to sell and mortgage our gold.’’
