There was a ruckus over teaching books of Pakistani authors in AMU, now this action has been taken

AMU Books Row: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Administration has released all the books of Pakistani Writer Maulana Abul Ala Maududi and Syed Qutub of Egypt from the Department of Islamic Studies It has been decided to remove it from the syllabus. Let us tell you that till now these books have been taught in the BA and MA classes of AMU.

Hence the demand for ban was made

Let us tell you that more than 20 academicians of the country including social worker Madhu Kishwar, on July 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which academics objected to the teaching of books by Maulana Abul Ala Maududi and Syed Qutb of Egypt in several state-funded universities including AMU, Jamia Millia Islamia and Hamdard University. Also, in a letter to the PM, it was claimed that the continuous attacks on Hindu society and culture are a direct result of such a curriculum.
