Shahbaz Sharif files nomination
Let us tell you that today Shahbaz Sharif has filed nomination as PM candidate on behalf of Nawaz Sharif’s party PML-N. At the same time, Imran Khan’s party PTI has made former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi as its PM candidate. In the voting on the no-confidence motion in the National Assembly of Pakistan till late Saturday, Imran Khan failed to get majority. 174 votes were cast against him. In such a situation, the way is clear for Shahbaz Sharif to become the Prime Minister.
