This BJP MLA from Bihar had to surrender in court, fined by the court, know the matter

Gopalganj: Senior BJP MLA and former Tourism Minister Rampravesh Rai surrendered in MP-MLA Special Court of Gopalganj ACJM-1 Manvendra Mishra on Wednesday after MP-MLA court issued non-bailable warrant. Had to do After the MLA surrendered, the court granted conditional bail to the MLA by imposing a fine of Rs 5,000, but he could not get rid of the court. Now trial will be conducted on the MLA.

Bail application

MLA’s advocate Manish Kishore Narayan has appealed on the bail application that Ram Pravesh Rai is a respected public representative. They should be given bail. Prosecuting Officer Gyanendra opposed the bail and said that due to his continuous absence from four dates, a non-bailable warrant was issued from the court. Despite the instructions of the court several times, he was not present. The case is pending for police paper and charge formation. The court asked the defense whether you are ready for the trial. The defense side said that we are ready for the trial.  After this the MLA’s bail was approved. 

The education officer had registered the case

It is said that Barauli’s Block Education Officer Devendra Pandey had filed a case against BJP candidate Ram Pravesh Rai in Barauli police station. He had alleged that on October 24, 2020, an election meeting was held at Barauli Higher Secondary School. In this, even after the instructions of the Election Commission, the Corona guidelines were not followed. Most of the people were neither wearing masks. Nor were they following social distancing. A case was registered regarding this violation. The court hearing in the same case was being held on Wednesday.
