Uproar over the decision of the first collegium headed by CJI Chandrachud, know what is the reason

Protest against move: The first collegium meeting of 5 Supreme Court judges was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. Such a decision was taken in this meeting, on which the work in the courts across the country has now come to a standstill. In fact, in the first collegium meeting of the CJI, a decision was taken to transfer three judges of the Madras High Court, including Acting Chief Justice T Raja. Now this decision is being opposed. This was the first meeting of the collegium of 5 judges after 26 September. In this, a recommendation was made to make Bombay High Court Chief Justice Dipankar Dutta a judge of the Supreme Court. In this meeting it was agreed to send Justice Raja to the Rajasthan High Court.

The Supreme Court collegium has decided to transfer one judge each of the Gujarat and Telangana High Courts. Due to which the lawyers at both the places have opened a front against this decision.
