‘Varun’ drone will be seen in the Republic Day parade, will fly with a human, know its qualities

Varuna Drone In Republic Day Parade: Today, on the special occasion of Republic Day, you will get to see a lot of new things on the duty path of Delhi. Really today’s parade is going to be very special. Although every year something new is seen in the parade, but this will be the first time when you will see such a drone in the parade which will fly with a man. The name of this drone is ‘Varun’. The trial of this drone took place last year in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

‘Varun’ drone has been prepared by Sagar Defense Engineering of Maharashtra. According to the information, the payload capacity of the drone is 130 kg and it can carry one person on board. It can fly for about 25 kilometers. Once it takes off, it can stay in the air for 25 to 33 minutes. It is believed that during emergency it can also be used for the Navy.

The special thing about Varun drone is that it can carry weapons along with humans. On the other hand, if food and drink items have to be sent to the army, then it can be sent from it. Varun is the best example of ‘Make in India’. Captain Nikunj Parashar, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Sagar Defense Engineering, said the inclusion of Varuna as a part of the Republic Parade and addressing the IDEX Sprint Challenge as one of the Navy’s ‘Make in India’ initiatives It was a proud moment.

Parashara said, "The main goal of the Varuna drone is to create an indigenous technology that can be used to protect frontline soldiers on the battlefield and improve national surveillance and security."

PM Modi liked Varun drone

Varun drone is one of the first steps towards self-reliant India. Its trial was held in Delhi on 18 July last year. Prime Minister in trial program Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath were also present. Prime Minister Modi had also praised the drone a lot. During the trial, the drone Varun flew up to a height of about 2 meters and rocked back and forth in the air before landing. The prime minister was very impressed with the drone.
