Rishikesh Karnprayag Rail Project: The problems arising out of the construction of Rishikesh-Karnprayag Rail Project have not been resolved for a long time. Because of this, the anger of the villagers broke out against the railway administration. Villagers reached Vyasi in the midst of rain and expressed their protest by shouting slogans outside the under-construction railway station. Simultaneously, the project construction work was stopped. The villagers of Beasi, Atali, Loyal, Lorsi, Kaudiyala and Singtali had clearly stated that they are not against the rail project, but against such works, due to which the villages of the village are getting destroyed. Villagers say that when the water sources dry up, houses will be destroyed and then what will the project be of use to them.
