Violence between Haiti gangs kills many, thousands displaced

Violence Between Haiti Gangs: Haiti’s Civil Protection Agency said on Wednesday that at least 20 people have died in fighting between some gangs in recent days. About two dozen people were injured and thousands left their homes. Officials said fighting broke out on Sunday in four neighboring areas of the capital Port au Prince, north of the international airport. At least a dozen homes were burned, thousands of people fled their communities, some of whom were temporarily living in the courtyard of a local mayor’s office.
