Violence erupts in 3 states on the third day of fierce protest against ‘Agneepath’

Agnipath Scheme Protest: In protest against the central government’s Agnipath scheme, a fierce crowd of youth from Bihar (Bihar) to Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Prdaesh) created a ruckus on Friday. In Bihar’s Samastipur, miscreants set fire to the Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express train this morning, in which two bogies of the train were burnt, while in Ballia, UP, a fierce mob of youth created a ruckus and vandalized many trains.

1- A train parked for washing at Ballia railway station in Uttar Pradesh was set ablaze by youths, causing one of its bogies to burn. 

2- According to police sources, a crowd of youth gathered at the Veer Lorik Stadium located at the district headquarters in the early hours of Friday to protest against the Agneepath scheme. The crowd of youth from the stadium reached Ballia railway station. Youth armed with sticks started a ruckus at the railway station.

3- According to the video circulated on the Internet, ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Take Back Agneepath’; Youth shouting slogans vandalized Ballia-Varanasi MEMU and Ballia-Shahganj trains. Police said that platform shops and private buses were also targeted and stones were pelted on Malgodam Road in Kotwali area of ​​Ballia city. 

4- Police used force to disperse the crowd. District Magistrate Soumya Aggarwal said that in view of the possibility of demonstration of youth, police was deployed from Friday morning itself. He said that the Ballia railway station was vandalized at one place and action is being taken to stop the miscreants. 

5- miscreants set fire to Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express train in Samastipur, Bihar this morning. Two bogies of the train got burnt. This is the incident of Mohiuddinnagar station of Hajipur-Barauni railway section. On the other hand, miscreants also set fire to the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train going from Darbhanga to New Delhi. Four bogies of the train were gutted. 

6- miscreants ransacked and looted the train near Bhola Talkies Railway Gumti of Samastipur Muzaffarpur rail section. 

7- Miscreants set fire to a passenger train parked at Kulhariya station in Arrah. Train operation has been disrupted due to arson on Patna-Deendayal Upadhyay main line. Here, in Ballia, youth vandalized and pelted stones in protest against the Agneepath scheme. Because of this the police had to use sticks. 

8- Haryana government has stopped mobile internet services in Ballabhgarh sub division of Faridabad. Services will remain closed for the next 24 hours. The decision was taken in view of the possibility of violence in the army recruitment dispute.

9- The movement regarding Agneepath has turned violent. Protesters torched bogies of some trains and pelted stones at passengers at Secunderabad railway station in Telangana.

10- The protest against the Agneepath plan was held at the historic Howrah Bridge in West Bengal where the police cleared the way by clearing these people immediately.
