After Reliance Jio and Airtel, telecom operator Vodafone Idea has now introduced prepaid plans with validity of 30 and 31 days. The new development comes months after TRAI asked telecom operators to include at least one prepaid plan with a validity of 30 and 31 days. Plans that are renewed on the same date are called calendar month validity plans. If you choose the calendar month prepaid plan, then you will have to do your recharge again on the same date of the next month.
Vodafone’s Rs 327 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 30 days. It offers a total of 25GB with 100 SMS per day. Also, the prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls and free subscription to Vi Movies and TV subscriptions, does not offer daily data benefits. Subscribers will get a total of 25GB data, which should be enough for a month, but if you are a heavy user, you might want to opt for prepaid plans that come with daily data benefits.
Similarly, the Rs 337 prepaid plan offered by Vodafone comes with a validity of 31 days. In the prepaid plan, total data of up to 28GB is available with 100 SMS daily. Along with this, the prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls and free subscription to Vi Movies and TV. This prepaid plan does not come with daily daily data benefits.
Jio’s Rs 259 plan is coming with a validity of one month. In this 1.5 GB data is being given daily. Along with this, unlimited calling and 100 SMS are being given daily. In this, subscription of Jio apps is being given free.
2 GB data is being given daily in Airtel’s plan of Rs 319. Apart from this, unlimited calling and 100 SMS are being given daily. Along with this, a subscription to the free trial of Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition is being given free.
