Water Problem in Rajasthan: The period of scorching heat has started in Rajasthan and the water problem is increasing continuously. There is still a long time for the arrival of monsoon, but in the event of this disaster, water crisis is being seen in many districts. Churu, Barmer, Bikaner, Jalore, Pali, Jaisalmer, Sirohi, Nagaur, Jodhpur and Dungarpur have been declared as disaster affected districts. There is a panic for water in many tehsils of these districts. The water level is continuously depleting in these districts. Preparations have started for running water train as well as efforts are being made to supply water from many other resources. About one crore people are facing water crisis.

Jodhpur District Collector Himanshu Gupta said that action is being taken regarding 10 tehsils of Jodhpur district which are affected by disaster. A team has been formed to deal with the drinking water crisis. Control room of officers of water supply department has been established, Pali water train will be operated from Jodhpur. 2 MLD water will be carried per round, the cost of which will be 4 lakh 50 thousand per round.

Water is being transported in rural areas of many districts of the state. Work is also being done on many projects to solve the problem of drinking water, as well as the transportation of water can be increased as per the requirement in the coming days. In the scorching heat, 3 districts of western Rajasthan are facing water scarcity. Chief Engineers of PHED Neeraj Mathur and Vinod Bharti told that in view of the water problem, water train is being run for water transport as well as pipeline work is going on fast to bring water to these other districts. /p>
Supply by water transport in many cities of the state
In urban area 18 to 20 cities of the state including Ajmer, Rajgarh, Tijara, Siwana, Bandikui, Baswa, Dausa, Anupgarh, Bagru, Amet , Deogarh, Sirohi, Uniara, Biratnagar, Jaipur, Pali, Jaisalmer, Sirohi water is being transported through water transport.
