In the final match of World Cup 2011, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Sri Lanka set India a target of 275, thanks to Mahela Jayawardene’s century and small innings from Dilshan and Sangakkara. In reply, India lost the wickets of Sehwag and Sachin on the total of 31 runs.
