Pakistan: ‘Imran Khan has fulfilled India’s dream’, Pakistan’s Defense Minister lashed out at the attack on military headquarters

Imran Khan Arrest Protest: Politics is intensifying in Pakistan regarding the uproar after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The protesters also targeted the army headquarters and Jinnah House. Now PM Shahbaz Sharif’s party has come out in support of the country’s army (Pakistan Army) and rallies are being taken out. In these rallies, the leaders are fiercely targeting Imran Khan.

Now Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif, while dragging India’s name in this dispute, even said that by attacking the army headquarters Imran Khan has fulfilled the dream of India. Addressing a PML-N rally in Sialkot, Khawaja Asif said that the attack on the General Headquarters (GHQ) during the May 9 violent protests inspired by the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan was India’s attack on Pakistan. was involved in conflicting objectives.

Protests were held across Pakistan

Khwaja Asif criticized without naming anyone that a political leader is targeting the armed forces of Pakistan in the current situation. They are involving outside elements in targeting the armed forces. These people want to come to power again. Significantly, after the arrest of Imran Khan on May 9, protests started across Pakistan. Public property was damaged and police vehicles were torched in several cities. 

During this at least 10 people were killed and dozens of others were injured. Internet services remained suspended across the country for more than 72 hours. Demanding the release of Imran Khan, the mob attacked several national institutions and buildings, including the GHQ and the Corps Commander’s House (Jinnah House).
