Yoga Day 2022: Yoga helps in keeping our body healthy. When the whole world was fighting a war with Corona. People were dying due to lack of oxygen, then efforts were being made to improve the oxygen level in the body through yoga. There are many yogasanas that increase oxygen in the body. Yoga is also very beneficial in recovery from Kovid-19. Let us know which yogasanas and pranayama increase the level of oxygen in the body. 

Increase Oxygen Level in the Body with Yoga
Anulom Vilom- To improve the oxygen level in the body, we should do Anulom Vilom. In anulom vilom, by pressing one nostril of the nose, exhale through the other nostril, then the breath has to be taken back from the same nostril from which you have exhaled. In this way do this action from both the sides. Anulom vilom also removes tension.

proning- Proning is a scientific method to keep the breath right. Experts say that if someone’s oxygen level is decreasing, then do not run to the hospital in a panic. Lie on your stomach at home and take deep long breaths, you have to lie down in the prone position. Due to this the lungs start working smoothly. After a while you must lie down on your stomach.  

Sai- In this pranayama, you have to first inhale inside the nose, then after inhaling as much breath as possible, make a pout while exhaling. You have to shrink the lips and make them like a beak. Then a little ‘ha’ With the sound of the breath is to be exhaled. This removes our tension. It should be done 35 to 40 times at a time. You can do this yoga 5 to 6 times a day.

Kapalbhati- You should also do Kapalbhati Pranayama lightly. For this, first take a long deep breath in. Now slowly exhale the breath. However, corona patients should take care that they do not feel any kind of pressure while exhaling.
